Chinese-speaking audiences do not lack AI news or tech commentary. What is still rare is direct, thoughtful, cross-cultural dialogue with global founders and builders.
Your ideas already circulate in the Chinese-speaking world — usually secondhand, summarized, and stripped of nuance. The Rebels is not about translating Silicon Valley for China; it is a bridge that lets you be heard there in your own voice, in full context.

他们可能是 AI founder，也可能是开源 builder、独立创作者、研究者、投资人、产品人，或是艺术家。他们做的事千差万别，挑战默认的方式也各不相同——有人重写规则，有人退出赛道，有人在无人相信的方向上坚持。
共同点只有一个：他们都拒绝把默认路径当成唯一答案。
They might be an AI founder, an open-source builder, an independent creator, a researcher, an investor, a product thinker, or an artist. What they do varies wildly — and so does how they challenge the default: some rewrite the rules, some walk away from the track, some keep going in a direction no one believes in.
They share only one thing: they refuse to treat the default path as the only path.

我一直没找到这样一档节目，
所以，我决定自己来做。
I couldn't find a show like this — so I decided to make it.
我在两个世界之间生活了很多年——中文与英文，东方与西方。我一次次发现同一件事：我遇到的那些最有意思的人，几乎从没得到过一场真正的对话。
我才刚刚起步，但我想做的，是那种我一直希望能多一些的、认真的科技对话——少一点 PR，多一点真诚：聊聊人们为什么做手里这件事，他们在抵抗什么，以及那些只能靠跌撞才学会的东西。
这，就是野人集 The Rebels。
野人——未被驯服的人。我说的不是那些为掌声而反叛的人，而是那些拒绝把默认路径当成唯一答案的人。他们怀疑共识，走向荒野，可能失败、可能格格不入、可能不被理解——却依然相信，世界可以被重新想象。
我想和这些人坐下来——founder、builder、creator、researcher、artist——跨越语言和文化，问那些我真正想知道的问题：你在挑战什么样的默认？你的选择让你付出了什么？你身上，哪一部分至今仍未被驯服？

I've spent years living between two worlds — Chinese and American, East and West. And I kept noticing the same thing: the most interesting people I meet never get real conversations.
I'm still very early, but I'm trying to build the kind of thoughtful tech conversation I wish existed more often — less PR, and more honest talk about why people build what they build, what they're resisting, and what they've had to learn the hard way.
That's 野人集 The Rebels.
野人 — the untamed. I don't mean the ones who rebel for applause, but the ones who refuse to accept the default path as the only path. Who question consensus. Who walk into the wild. Who may fail, look out of place, be misunderstood — and still believe the world can be reimagined.
I sit down with these people — founders, builders, creators, researchers, artists — across languages and cultures, and ask the things I actually want to know: What default are you challenging? What did your choices cost you? What part of you is still untamed?
